About Me

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
I am married to my loving husband for more than 45 years now. I am a mother to 3 beautiful children, until years ago when I lost my youngest son. Since then my life is forever altered but yet unbroken....

My Travel Journal

"There isn't much I haven't shared with you along the road and through it all there'd always be tomorrow's episode" - Elton John

I started traveling around the world since early 80s when I had the opportunity to combine business trips with vacations. Then later when my rezeki is in abundance, there were numerous other trips along the way for vacations, most of the time with hubby and the kids when the timing is right. I have also started to compile the journal and photo-pages covering almost more than 45 years of world wide travel. Some destinations I visited just once, others many times. Many of those places are the obvious famous places people would like to visit but some, the casual traveler doesn't even think to try. I have placed links to my travel at the side bar of my personal page, My Life Reflections, and will be updating them from time to time.

My wish is to continue my travel and complete circumnavigate the globe, insyaAllah…

Umrah Day 13: Madinah – Kuala Lumpur

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself...” - Rumi

(Madinah Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport)

Day 13: 31/08/24 (Saturday)
Route: Madinah – Kuala Lumpur
Flight: MH159 2230/1310+1 MED-KUL

After breakfast we placed our big luggage outside the room to be collected by the bellboy.

The rest of the morning was spent resting and napping in the room till Zohor prayers. After lunch, took a refreshing shower before we checked out. We were allowed a late check out at 2.30 pm. The lobby area was too small to cater for the big crowd so we stayed at the dining area and had coffee while waiting for Asar prayers.

Since it was not crowded during Asar prayers,. I managed to have a place at the very front row of the ladies prayer hall. After prayers, recited the Salam Wida to our beloved Prophet Muhammad and made doa for us to be given the opportunity to come and visit the Haramain again and again in the future.

(All aboard!)
(Off to the airport!)

We boarded the bus at 4.30 pm and headed to the Madinah Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport. As we were early for check in, the group convened at the Haj Terminal Hall and were provided with packed dinner and a free flow of coffee and tea. We performed Maghrib/Isya' prayers at the Haj Terminal before we checked-in our luggage together with the 5-litre bottle of zamzam water.

The check in process and Immigration clearance were smooth and fast. We boarded the 10.30 pm flight on time. Arrived KLIA safely at 12.20 pm the next day, an hour earlier than the estimated time of arrival.
