Day 11: Madinah - KL, Leaving the Holy Lands...

Route: Madinah - Kuala Lumpur
Flight: MH159 2130/1115+1 MED-KUL

Our bags were packed and arranged neatly outside our room for the porter to collect.

As today was the last day in Madinah, we made sure that we perform obligatory and sunnah prayers in the mosque. For the last time we recited salam to the Prophet, bade goodbye and made lots of doa.

This afternoon after Asar prayers we boarded the bus to Madinah International Airport. Leaving Madinah is an emotional experience. It is like leaving a piece of my heart in this blessed City of the Prophet.

Bagage checked-in and Immigration clearance was smooth. The 9.30 pm MH159 flight was on time. The 7-hour flight was unevetful and I slept throughout the journey, resting fatigue body and soul.

ETA in KLIA at 10.45 am.
