“Sometimes a journey ends not with excitement, but with a quiet sigh of contentment...”

It was a long but gentle drive south, skirting the devastating aftermath of flooded Hat Yai - the very city where our adventure had first begun. It saddened us to witness how a once-thriving place now lay broken and silent, its recovery certain but destined to take time.

The road to Sadao felt calm after days of uncertainty. We stopped for lunch at Restoran Kak Jah, then picked up a few tidbits from the roadside stalls in Dannok before crossing the border. Soon, the familiar green signboards appeared - a quiet, comforting welcome home.

We made a short detour to the new Masjid Ihya Ulumuddin in Changlun for prayers, then continued along the PLUS Highway, stopping again for prayers and dinner at R&R Ulu Bernam.

As we approached Kuala Lumpur, the skyline slowly emerged against the evening sky - a gentle reminder that every journey, no matter how far it takes us, eventually brings us back to where we began, carrying stories we’ll hold for a long time.
Alhamdulillah...
