My Travel Journal

"There isn't much I haven't shared with you along the road and through it all there'd always be tomorrow's episode" - Elton John

I started traveling around the world since early 80s when I had the opportunity to combine business trips with vacations. Then later when my rezeki is in abundance, there were numerous other trips along the way for vacations, most of the time with hubby and the kids when the timing is right. I have also started to compile the journal and photo-pages covering almost more than 45 years of world wide travel. Some destinations I visited just once, others many times. Many of those places are the obvious famous places people would like to visit but some, the casual traveler doesn't even think to try. I have placed links to my travel at the side bar of my personal page, My Life Reflections, and will be updating them from time to time.

My wish is to continue my travel and complete circumnavigate the globe, insyaAllah…

4NR DMK 2012: 10 Kampot, Cambodia - Pattaya, Thailand

"Go after your dreams, no matter how unattainable others think it is..." - Linda Mastandrea

(Rough ride on an unpaved road...)

Day 10: 27/10/2012 - Saturday
Route: Kampot – Koh Kong border – Pattaya
Distance: 360 km
Hotel: Furama Beach Hotel, Pattaya

We rode the rough road from Kampot to Koh Kong border passed through the main trunk road and a few national parks. We stopped to rest and eat mangoes and drink sugarcane juice before crossing the bridge to the Koh kong, Cambodia – Hat Lek, Thai Immigration Centre. Again, the border clearance was simple and smooth.

(Clean clear river under the Koh Kong bridge...)

We rode to Pattaya along the beautiful beach road and reached the Furama Beach Hotel already dark. After checking-in we walked around to look for Muslim food and ended up eating at one Persian Restaurant and packed some rice for tomorrow breakfast.

(Pattaya at night...)

We had an hour of foot reflexology at Baht200 each before a good refreshing sleep...
