My Travel Journal

"There isn't much I haven't shared with you along the road and through it all there'd always be tomorrow's episode" - Elton John

I started traveling around the world since early 80s when I had the opportunity to combine business trips with vacations. Then later when my rezeki is in abundance, there were numerous other trips along the way for vacations, most of the time with hubby and the kids when the timing is right. I have also started to compile the journal and photo-pages covering almost more than 45 years of world wide travel. Some destinations I visited just once, others many times. Many of those places are the obvious famous places people would like to visit but some, the casual traveler doesn't even think to try. I have placed links to my travel at the side bar of my personal page, My Life Reflections, and will be updating them from time to time.

My wish is to continue my travel and complete circumnavigate the globe, insyaAllah…

Thailand Borders 21: Chumphon

"It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light..." - Aristotle

(Thung Wa Laen Beach Resort)

Day 21: Saturday, 30 Nov 2024
Route: Chumphon Free and Easy
Hotel: Nana Buri Hotel, Chumphon

We had complimentary buffet breakfast at the hotel dining hall. There were bus loads of guests having their breakfast here this morning. Most probably they are also heading to Hatyai and waiting for the flood to recede.

We rested the whole morning in the room. After prayers we drove to Khun Sarai R&R for lunch. There were also bus loads of Muslim students having lunch at the food court.

(Topped up fuel and bought provision in view of the prolong flood)

We refueled and bought some provisions at the 7-eleven then headed to Thung Wua Laen Beach. We used to stay in one of the resort by the beach during our biking days. The weather was bright and windy at the beach.

Back in the hotel we had our afternoon nap. After prayers we walked to our favorite massage parlor again for a full body massage.
