Day 19: Thursday, 28 Nov 2024
Route: Kanchanaburi - Cha-am
Distance: 160 km (2:46)
Hotel: The Beach Residence, Cha-am

Breakfast in the room.

Checked out around 8.30 am then headed to Tha Muang Mosque, the Central Mosque of Kanchanaburi. It is a 2-story building located by road side. Car park is limited and can accommodate less than ten cars. It is also the office of the Kanchanaburi Islamic Committee and the center of Halqah Da'wah Alamiah.

Drove out of Kanchanaburi on highway 323. Stopped for comfort break and bought provision at Huai Rong PTT in Phetchaburi. The R&R is big, with a halal restaurant and many halal food trucks. There is also a Muslim prayer room.

After a refreshing afternoon nap, we went for a leisure walk along the beach. It was very windy and the sea was quite rough. We saw many people at the beach enjoying the late afternoon dip.
