2017 UK Trip: 30 Bicester Village, England - Designer Outlet Shopping...

"I dislike feeling at home when I’m abroad..." - George Bernard Shaw

(The ultimate shopping destination)

Date: 17 May 2017 (Wednesday)
Route: Southampton - Bicester
Distance: 78 miles (1 hr 40 min)
Hotel: Travelodge Cherwell Valley Bicester (£81)

From Southampton we drove direct to Bicester Village. It was raining still when we reached the shopping complex.

(An appeal for tourists and shoppers)
(Gorgeous shop fronts and decorations)
(A Manja food truck of street food)
(A Contemplation Room a.k.a. prayer room)
(Multi-faith prayer room)

Bicester is a town and civil parish in the Cherwell district of northeastern Oxfordshire in England. This historic market centre is one of the fastest growing towns in Oxfordshire. This quaint retail park half way between Birmingham and London is a shopping Shangri-la.

(Each store offers a heavy discount on prices)
(High-end UK brands)
(Less crowded in late evening)
(Still raining when we left)

Tonight we stayed in Bicester Cherwell Valley M40 Travelodge. It is a short distance from Bicester Village and train station, perfectly placed for shoppers looking for designer brands at Bicester Village and visitors looking to explore nearby Banbury and Oxford or the beautiful Cotswolds.

(Our lodging for the night)
